Working in association with a team of experienced technicians and drill operators, we offer a range of geotechnical engineering services.
Investigations and Design Using various types of sampling methods for both geotechnical and environmental investigations, including SPT, U50/U75, Geoprobing to depths of over 30 metres, Hollow Flight Auger continuous sampling, 63 mm piston sampler, and Envirocore continuous sampling, our small fleet of purpose-built equipment offers extreme manoeuvrability, flexibility, and versatility to handle nearly all drilling situations and site conditions. In addition, a small landing barge enables fast and easy over-water drilling capabilities. • geotechnical investigations for multi storey and large scale developments • geotechnical investigations for buildings with basements • Acid Sulphate Soils (ASS) investigation and management plans • slope stability investigations and stabilisation designs • house site classifications • retaining wall design • dam engineering investigations and design • bridge site investigations • pavement investigation and design • de-watering |
|
Stabilisation Primarily using a skid mounted EVH1750 Scout drilling system - a powerful, lightweight rig - we have the capabilities to complete almost any slope stabilisation project, and specialise in difficult or limited access sites. Our team of drilling operators is experienced in major projects in the Snowy Mountains and across Victoria, NSW and Tasmania, as well as recent works in Kuranda and Barron Gorge. • soil nails • passive dowels • tension anchors • rockfall netting systems such as drapery systems • cortical strengthening (high strength reinforced netting) • catch/debris fences • drainholes • shotcreting • concrete plinths and other concrete structures • scaling • testing of soil nails, passive dowels and tension anchors to standard testing requirements |
